Eurovision Song Contest was great again this year. Hosted in Malmö, Sweden (last year’s winner: Loreen – Euphoria). My country even made it to the finals, thanks to amazing singer Anouk! The Netherlands hadn’t made it to the finals for several years. Anouk’s song was great, and ended up 9th place.

I haven’t talked about my eating habits much thus far, and all one can see from my blog is that I take a lot of pictures of bad food (fast food, candy, milk chocolate, etc). Needless to say, not all of the items in my photos are my own, neither do the photos imply that I eat all or any of it, or that I eat it all at once.
So, for today, a photo of my evening meal.
I make food with my boyfriend almost daily (he’s an excellent cook!), and we like to vary with vegetables, always combined with meat. One of my favorite meals, is a rice meal. We’ve experimented with a lot of different ingredients and today’s rice meal is really one of my all-time favorites.
Today’s rice meal contained: corn, green peas, onions, garlic, sliced pork belly.

A brand new restaurant opened up in my town a little while ago: Domino’s. My mom wanted to give one of their pizzas a try, and I figured I might as well order an item called ‘chicken strippers’.

My mom ordered the pizza ‘shoarma’.

The chicken strippers were tasty.

The cat wanted some too, but I didn’t want to share with him. :P

We ordered this last Saturday, currently it’s Tuesday and today I tried one of their pizzas too: chicken kebab. I’m not crazy about pizza, but this one was very good! And also way too much for me… I’m still (5hrs later) full. If I ever get a pizza again, I’ll make sure I’ll share it with someone.

These Riegelein Confiserie Easter bunny chocolates were extremely delicious!

Milk chocolate with nougat creme (chocolate spread / praliné) and crisp filling.

Easter Bunny gevulde koek. I’m not sure about an English name for this kind of treat, but the bunny is made of butter dough and has a sweet filling. Extremely delicious.
