Here is one way to make eggrolls yourself. A simple-looking recipe, but still costs a little bit of effort.
Making DIY Eggrolls
Skin: The skin is a mixture of flour, water and a bit of salt. You mix the water, flour and salt in a bowl, using a fork (or something else you’d like).
Drip some of the mixture into a frying pan with a little bit of (sunflower) oil in it. Very thin. Make sure it covers the entire surface of the pan. Fry it on one side, do not let it turn brown. This takes about 5 minutes. Then you take it out and put it on a plate. And then you make the next one(s). (As many as you like.)
Filling: The eggroll is filled with rice, chopped vegetables and small pieces of meat. However, you can fill it up with whatever you like. 🙂
After letting the skins cool off a little, you can fill them with whatever you have prepared and roll it up/fold it. When you did that, glaze it with raw egg. (Take an egg, put it into a glass and scramble it a little. It should look like the picture.)
You do this so it won’t break open during the next step.
Frying: Put them into the fryer, as many as fit into your fyer. Let them fry for about 5 minutes.
The result: a beautiful, delicious eggroll like this!
