These are some of my favourites: puff pastry treats. (I don’t think I can give it an ‘official’ name, so this is what I’ll refer it to as.) Extremely delicious treats made of puff pastry, filled with either a (piece of a) small sausage, cheese, ham, or a combination of these!
This is a really simple tutorial, quick and easy with a yummy result!
Making Puff Pastry Treats
First of all, you’ll need puff pastry.
Decide what you wish to fill your treats with.
I choose small slices of cheese, small slices of ham and small pieces of sausage in each of them.
(I make a combination of these in each puff pastry treat.)
We start by putting the puff pastry on a cutting board and, if desired, cut them into 2 or 4 parts. I like my puff pastry treats smaller, so I cut them into 4 parts.
This is what my treats look like before putting them into the oven. Additionally, you can glaze them with raw egg and add tiny bits of cheese (/grated cheese) on them. However you do it, though, keep in mind that when you make as many as I do, you might take it out of the oven looking like a pizza. (They all stick together. :D)
Now, put them into the oven (combi microwave in my option), using the settings as recommended on your packaging of puff pastry.
If all goes well (and all should go well, ‘cuz you’re hungry!) this should be your result. Enjoy!
