Let’s get started! Open up iPhoto Plus 4 and go to File -> New. I used a 520×300 white canvas.
Go to Enhance -> Text, type the text of choice. I used Arial Black, color RGB 51, 153, 255, size 65.
When you’ve added the text of your choice, press OK. Right-click your text, and click Duplicate.
Go to (Enhance ->) Transform. Rotate the duplicate text clockwise twice, and flip it horizontally.
Position your duplicate text under the original. (When I use text with a “y” in it, I tend to edit the Duplicate and change “y” with “v”, as I did in this example as well.) Go to (Enhance ->) Text -> Gradient Fill.
Right-click the first square and select Eye dropper. Use it to get the color of your current text. Click the second square and add white (or whatever color you have set your background to). Press OK. Right-click your duplicate -> Properties -> set Transparency to 55. Click Ok. Right-click your duplicate -> Merge, and you’re done.
Have fun experimenting with this tutorial!
