In the Netherlands, you will not typically find things like dim sum or bao zhe at a Chinese restaurant. In fact, you will find a mixture of Chinese and Indonesian menu items, with one of the most popular items being Babi Pangang (grilled/roasted pork).
Today, I ordered “Tsiu Yim Ha” with nasi goreng. This translates to pepper and salt shrimp with bean sprouts and bell pepper, with fried rice as a side dish.
Needless to say, it was delicious. 🙂
