Today I would like to show you my 3D art of unagi nigiri! I made this art in Blender. It’s a slice of raw eel on top of a ball of rice.
The art was made entirely in Blender. I used Vertex Paint for the colors. The background was added in GIMP.
Nigiri is a type of sushi. Nigiri sushi consists of a small ball of vinegared rice, typically hand-pressed, with a slice of raw or cooked seafood placed on top. Sometimes, a thin strip of nori (seaweed) is used to hold the topping in place. The seafood used can vary widely, including types such as tuna, salmon, shrimp, eel, and many others.
