A Tasty Egg-speriment with Cheese (Easy Recipe)

I decided to experiment with a simple egg recipe and it turned out delicious! Getting the ingredients I’m going to mention might be difficult, because I’m using some type of Bulgarian style smoked cheese. Let me tell you about this easy recipe though!

First, I whisked two eggs. I added a tiny bit of sugar. You can obviously skip this step, as I will skip it next time. Do add a bit of salt.

Then, I put some butter in the pan and added the egg mixture.

When the egg starts taking shape, I add a slice of cheese. I prefer cheese with a high-fat ratio, they taste really good.

After a while, when it’s about time to fold the egg similar to how tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) is folded, I add a few slices of smoked cheese with a ham flavor. I believe this may also be referred to as ‘melted cheese’. Ingredient-wise, not so good. But I do NOT regret it for the taste!

Lastly, I added two slices of turkey ham. (In reality it’s a mixture of turkey and chicken. But it’s all that I could find that is affordable to me: 1.50 USD for 100 grams.) This type of meat really is an exception to eat. The reason being it containing E250, a preservative added to pretty much all processed meats. E250 has been raising health concerns, so you might want to look into that before you continue consuming processed meats.

Either way… it’s unfortunately very difficult to banish all bad ingredients from our daily diet, as we’re so far removed from where we once used to be. So let’s enjoy life with a slice of ham and other mysterious ingredients every once in a while. :D

Look at this deliciously folded egg. With the cheese melting inside and the ham tastes amazing together with the cheese.
