On August 20, 2015, I went to Rotterdam Blijdorp Zoo! I’ve seen sea lions, penguins, okapis, prairie dogs, flamingos, butterflies, giraffes, hyenas, crocodiles, monkeys, all types of fish and birds and so on!
I took a bunch of pictures and I want to share some of my favorites.

Butterflies in the Butterfly Garden (‘Vlindertuin’) of Rotterdam Blijdorp zoo. A beautiful area with many, many butterflies in various colors and sizes.

The prairie dogs are not kept in a cage in Rotterdam Blijdorp zoo, so I was able to get really close to one! I had never seen one in real life before and I actually estimated them to be a just a tiny bit bigger.

Not supposed to be part of the zoo but hey, where there’s food, there will be seagulls! I’ve never been able to get so close to one before. :)
