This character inspired me so much, I spent 4 hours on this drawing. O_O;; I took the liberty of experimenting with different brushes in Krita, and spent an immense amount of time on the background scene to be honest… maybe too much time? xD
Shading in several shades, lineart in various colors, detailed stones and elements in the foreground and background, as well as light effects, ambient effects and blurring to help the eyes focus on the main subject – or should I say subjects, as I added a little froggy as a friend for Pongle.

And here are a couple of WIP snapshots taken throughout the entire process! Thank you for having a look. It was a lot of work, but I was happy that this particulier little character instilled me with so much inspiration and motivation – I haven’t created such a detailed drawing in a long time!
