I was semi-following along a Blender tutorial on YouTube called Stylized Pizza Art Tutorial by Farrukh 3D when I ran into an unexpected problem as I tried to render my image: my Grease Pencil strokes appeared on top of my model where they should have appeared behind.
While within Blender, the pizza slice is rendered just as it should with the Grease Pencil strokes not overlapping anywhere or showing on top of my model, once I rendered the image, it was a mess.
Although I did not follow the tutorial to a T and did not check every second of it, I couldn’t find a solution within the video so I had to start looking for the solution myself. And luckily, I found it!
Easy Solution
Go into the ‘View Layer’ tab and check the box for ‘Z’ as you can see in the image above. That’s it! Good luck with your Blender art!
Thank you for checking out my Blender Note! I am by all means a beginner in Blender, so I do not feel qualified to label this post as a 'tip' or 'tutorial'. However, I decided to upload this note for myself, and hopefully it can be useful to others as well.
