Lately I’ve been experimenting with making desserts and I wanted to share my recipes, also as a personal reminder as I have very little experience with making desserts to begin with. ^_^;
Note to self: Take pictures under better lighting circumstances next time…
Anyway, this is what I made:
Chocolate Dessert with Cookie Crumbs
I made this dessert with the following ingredients:
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 50 gr sugar
- bit of salt
– mix this well
Then:
- add 250 ml milk
- add 50 gr of dark chocolate (broken into pieces)
– mix it on medium heat until it thickens
After that was done, I poured it into a glass heat-resistant bowl that I prepared with a layer of cookie crumbs. Once filled, I added some more cookie crumbs on top and put the bowl into the fridge for a couple of hours. It was very tasty!
Oh, I made two variations, both had cookie crumbs on the bottom. For the other bowl, I mixed the following:
- 100 ml milk
- 15 gr sugar
- a bit of instant coffee
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 beaten egg added in while stirring
The poor lighting makes it look like ragout… sorry about that. XD
The instant coffee I used has additional ingredients, including sugar, that’s why I used less normal sugar for the second bowl. It was also delicious.
I would say these dessert recipes are pretty fool-proof, so don’t hesitate to try it out!
