My event to help me help street cats was extended, but now the month of February, too, has come to an end.
What are the results?
Well…
I did not quite the amount of people commenting. BUT. When I checked my Members page, I saw just how many people actually became a member and I don’t want to overreact, but it almost brought me to tears.
I’ve been working on inspiremari.nl for so long, and for so long I’ve been working in the shadows. Sharing art, tips, insights, photos, a glimpse into my personal life as well as some very emotional events.
For most of the years, my website existed in the shadows. And even though in the last few years I am working harder than ever for a chance to be seen, I didn’t think I would achieve even 10 people signing up. Let alone people commenting. Or asking to exchange links.
Slowly but surely, my website is working its way out of the shadows. And thanks to all of you – every single one of you – my website has a chance to grow.
So maybe I didn’t meet my requirement for the amount of people commenting, but I did receive comments and I am ever so grateful.
I decided to go ahead and buy the outdoor cat shelters either way. Because I think we’re off to a good start. And the cats in my city need help.
And I know the street cats need more than shelter, and I will be sure to continue working on being able to do more for them.
Outdoor Shelters for Street Cats: Donated!
The outdoor shelters have been donated to a person who is very active and involved with street cats in my city. She will make sure that the shelters will be placed in a safe area, and secured so that they can’t be blown away by wind.
I hope many street cats will be able to benefit from these shelters.
With your help, I will be able to continue helping the street cats in my area.
Thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart.
