I found out about this festival just a few hours before the event was going to start. Luckily, it’s only about 30 minutes of walking from my apartment, so I made it on time even though I left the home a little late. I took a few pictures of this Festival of the “Flying Lanterns” that I wanted to share!
My phone isn’t good at taking pictures in low light conditions, so I’m sorry the photos aren’t that impressive. I do wanted to share this as a little diary entry so to speak.
It was very nice to look at. I’m happy I found out about the Festival of the “Flying Lanterns” in Ruse in time! Oh, and what you’re seeing across that body of water is Romania by the way. :-)
