Today I went to the fun fair in Ruse! Even though I didn’t even realize there was a fun fair until yesterday. It’s quite a coincidence actually, since yesterday was ‘King’s Day’ in The Netherlands, which means there is a fun fair in my old hometown right now. It’s like that every single year, and I always have a look at the fun fair, even though it’s been many years since I last spent a euro at the fair. I mean… the prices are far from ‘fun’, if you ask me.

As for the prices here in Ruse, I can’t say it’s ‘cheap’, but I guess it’s not expensive either. The average cost for a ride was around 3 euros. I’ll be honest, it’s not worth it for me. There was also a lot of food for sale, and random toys. I enjoyed walking across the fun fair today. It was huge, compared to the one of my old hometown in The Netherlands!
