How to get extra wood/steel/cement?
If you’re low on wood, steel or cement in Hey Hospital, you can get extra by doing tasks in the game or buying some from the Guild Shop once you’ve joined a guild. You can join a guild when you are at least level 19 (some guild owners set a different minimum level requirement).
Various patients give wood, steel or cement as a reward, so playing the waiting game will also allow you to stock up on new material.
Do I get my resources back from upgrading a doctor if I sell a room?
[Uncomfirmed] Most likely not – you will get 70% of your money back when you sell an item or room.
My hospital is riddled with poop and trash. What can I do?
Fairly early on in the game, you will get patients who litter a lot by throwing banana peels on the floor and you will have to deal with diahrrea patients who rush to the toilet but just quite don’t make it. This is going to be a frustrated period within the game, as you can not buy more cleaners or clean anything up yourself. Make sure to make use of the Cleaning Skill wisely and periodically and also don’t forget to upgrade your Cleaning Skill at the Tech Center.
To avoid your hospital from being overflown with trash and poop, be sure to slow down your patient flow by clicking on your picture in the top left corner, then go to Management tab and set the flow to 60%, and confirm. With fewer people in your hospital at a time, it will be easier for your cleaners to clean up any mess, and your Cleaning Skill will do the rest of the work when necessary.
As you unlock new patients, your trash problems will decrease, so keep going!
what is the fastest way to earn money in Hey Hospital?
In Hey Hospital, you will need to build and upgrade a lot of rooms. Please make your decisions wisely and do not unnecessarily upgrade rooms or build too many of the same room.
By just letting the game run its course, you will earn a steadily flow of income by curing patients. You will also earn money by doing (daily) tasks and getting the login bonus.
Alternatively, you can buy money by spending Diamonds, although I would personally not recommend doing so as the exchange rate is rather poor.
If you buy a Monthly Card ($8.99) you will earn 10% extra income on treatments.
Will I continue making money when I close the app?
No need to worry – when you close the app, you will continue getting patients until you need to do another advertisement. As patients keep coming, you will continue to earn money in the game. If a room is being built or upgraded, this will also continue while the app is closed.
The next time you start Hey Hospital, you will get an offline report on how long you were away, how many patients were successfully treated and how much money you’ve earned.
How do I get Diamonds?
In Hey Hospital you will earn both money and the Hard Currency called Diamonds. Diamonds are more valuable as they are harder to get and can be purchased with real life money.
If you do not wish to spend your hard earned cash on Diamonds, no problem; you will gradually earn Diamonds for doing achievements and logging in regularly. With Diamonds being a scarce currency in the game, this means that you will have to make smart decisions if you want to spend them. For example, buying a second worker will cost 150 Diamonds. Is this worth it, or would you rather just wait it out and save up for an outfit for one of your doctors or nurses to increase their stats?
When should I best upgrade my buildings?
In order to save money and resources is it best to only upgrade your buildings when a task requires you to do so. This prevents you from running out of money or resources by upgrading buildings at random. When a task requires you to upgrade a building, you will get a reward for it.
What are the benefits of joining a Guild?
When you are level 19, you can either make or join a Guild. Joining a Guild is free, provided you meet the requirements of the Guild Owner. Making your own Guild will cost you $100,000.
Every day there are 3 Guild Challenges which you can take on in order to earn ‘medals’ that you can spend in the Guild Shop. The Guild Shop allows you to buy costumes, material and money.
How can I stop patients from using a room?
Sometimes you will want to prevent patients from using a room in your hospital, for example when you’ve applied Haste to a room. In order to stop people from using the room without Haste, you can either put the room in your wardrobe or send the doctor in the room on a break by clicking on the doctor in the room and then click on the green button under the coffee, with the word ‘rest’ on it. With your doctor on a break, your patients can no longer use that room and they will surely go to the other room.
What is the difference between Luck and Luck Effect?
Luck is how often the Luck Effect will be activated, Luck Effect adds Med Skill to the patient based on its percentage.
