Finally, after all these years, I’m back into my old Neopets account! I came across a tweet of Neopets the other day and that reminded me I should try again to get my old account back – I wasn’t able to get it recovered years ago. This time around, I had success: my account was restored within hours!
Luckily, I remembered my username. I also had access to my email address. But my account was frozen – most likely due to not having accessed it for over a decade. ^_^;;
I provided as much information as possible in my request to have it restored. Luckily I remembered a few important details, like that I had an Usul and Xweetok waiting for me. I was also pretty certain my Usul was either red or yellow, and my Xweetok red. And I was correct!
I didn’t think I had any screenshots actually, but I did! This picture above is an old screenshot from when I played it around 2007.
My Usul is 6,768 days old now! That’s – woah – 18.5 years LOL. How time flies, huh ;-; And she’s dying… now I have to see what I can do to get her, and my other pets, some food.
This is to remind other people who may have a dormant Neopets account – your pets, your pet pets, they’re waiting for you to return. :D I would invite you to send a friend request, but honestly, I have no idea how much I’ll be playing. I do wanna figure out how to get some food to keep the bellies of my pets filled, though. It’s always such a sad sight to return to their frowning faces, and their hunger status being a dramatic ‘dying’, lol.
Lastly, I wanted to share this picture of some Neopets march I was able to collect back in 2007 from a local shop in the Netherlands called Kruidvat. I got a bunch of Neopets keychains and a couple of cards. This is the only picture I have, I think… I had to dig quite far to find it, but I thought it would be nostalgic to show. :D
