On this page, I am keeping you semi up to date with my progress of moving from The Netherlands to The Philippines Eastern Europe! Yes, you read that right. We had a couple of setbacks leading up to our planned and paid for trip to The Philippines, and ultimately decided it would be wiser to cancel the trip. Although we definitely still consider going to The Philippines, we decided to first check out Eastern Europe! In fact, we’ve decided to go to Romania.

Preparing to move across the world
A lot needs to be done in order to move to, literally, the other side of the world. I don’t just have to sort out my belongings, I also have to sort through all of my parents’ belongings and empty the house completely before I can move out. Luckily, I have siblings that will take over and finish off the last few things that need to be done, after I moved out.
Status – ██████████ 100% Complete (But Cancelled)
These are the last, most important steps to complete before I can move from The Netherlands to The Philippines. Please note that these steps will be taken in quite quick succession from another, so the status bar will go up quite rapidly at some point!
☑ Shipped off my belongings to the Philippines
☑ Cat health certificates and passports are ready (legalized)
☑ Acquired import permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry
☑ Acquired transit permit for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (stopover) (The transit permit came too late)
☑ Flight tickets booked Cancelled!
Moving from The Netherlands to The Philippines
