Since moving into our apartment in Bulgaria, I’ve using my Tapo C200 security camera to monitor my cats. Mostly I use it to check that they’re still safe when the windows are open (even though we have screens in front of them), but the Tapo C200 camera is also useful when placed in the hallway, to check if a cat wants into the living room when the door is closed.
I try not to close the door too often, since it’s also annoying to need to open and close it the whole day, but it is necessary to do so when running the inverter to keep the heat or cold in the living room.
Having the webcam around has surprisingly led to a lot of funny footage! After sifting through over 140 clips that I had saved up, I’ve finally put together a compilation that I think is really worth sharing! It’s a video of Ricky being playful in front of a closed door throughout the year. She makes funny sounds like a chicken and jumps against the door or wall right next to it – as if she’s doing parkour!
