This is not quite related to what I normally post – kawaii art, art resources, cute cats, nostalgia etc. – but it is related to my personal life. Having moved to Bulgaria a year ago, I of course want to learn the language. And I’ve been practicing with the resources that are available, but the (free) resources and far and few in between. So after getting the Cyrillic (pretty much) down, as well as a lot of basics, I decided to make a little script with Bulgarian words and phrases that I think are useful. You can add or skip words/phrases as you like, and you can also ‘print’ a simple vocabulary list with words and phrases you have learned successfully.
It’s bare bones – no audio, it doesn’t store your progress and you’ll need to be able to read Cyrillic – BUT it allows you to answer in either Dutch or English! So if you’re Bulgarian and you want to practice Dutch or English, you can use it in reverse of the way I am using it. :D
