Today’s Dinner: Döner & Gyros

Although gyros and döner kebabs are similar, they have distinct differences in their meat, seasoning, and sauce. As if it wasn’t obvious enough, I absolutely love döner – and I’m no stranger to gyros, either. Today I decided to order my dinner from a different place in Ruse, and I wanted to try both döner and gyros from this country. Or perhaps more specifically, this region.

The döner and gyros came wrapped in a bread, and were deliciously filled with fries and vegetables.

In addition, I ordered a small pack of fries. As always, fries come without salt, so I added some table salt myself. Packaged in Styrofoam, the fries ended up soggy… but I don’t care – I love fries regardless of their crunchiness (or lack thereof)!

Anyway, today’s dinner was delicious but I only ate half of it, so I’m excited to eat the rest tomorrow. :D I rated the food and the delivery 5 stars, even though it took the delivery girl about 15-20 minutes of driving around the neighborhood in circles to find the address… It’s okay. It’s not the first time that a delivery driver can’t find the apartment. xD
