Okay, I know I just ordered takeout two days ago, but I received a discount coupon and it would be a waste not to make use of it, right? :D So I decided to used them on Waffle World again. :D
I ordered some salty katmi (crepes) and waffles for today’s dinner, again from this restaurant here in Ruse, Bulgaria.
I ordered waffles with pepperoni, waffles with quattro formaggi (4 types of cheese), a salty katma with pork and one with ham.
This type of food is very filling, to say the least! The food shown in the pictures is for two people, by the way. There is no way I would be able to finish all of this in one day!
I did kinda regret not ordering a sweet katma or waffle with chocolate, though… especially because the food smelled a bit like Nutella. xD It must’ve touched someone else’s sweet katma or waffle order before they prepared mine.
Pictured above: Katma with ham and cheese and melted cheese! This one is my favorite. The ham and cheese really go together so well, and the melted cheese really finished it off.
This salty katma has pork meat inside, as well as some ham and cheese and melted cheese. Because again, the melted cheese is delicious!
Above: This is picture of my waffle with quattro formaggi (four types of cheese) cut in half! As you can see, the ‘content’ really is just put on top of the waffle, there is nothing inside. It’s really a waffle with the topping of your choosing. In all fairness, this makes it very much a ‘waffle’… hmm, what I’m trying to say it, I would actually love it more of the pepperoni or the quattro formaggi were rolled inside a katma. *-*
Waffle versus Katma
As I’ve said, I ordered from Waffle World before, and it”s still an interesting type of dish to me! Especially the waffles. But yeah, like I tried to explain, I would say I prefer the katmi. If I would order chocolate or honey, though I’m sure the waffles would be just as delicious. :3
