After a nice trip to Mall Rousse yesterday, I ordered some stuff from my favorite restaurant in this city, Porky’s BBQ!
I noticed they had loaded fries on the menu and, coming from the Netherlands and loving fries, I wanted to ordered that!
I’ll be honest – I really prefer to just regular fries with some salt or mayonnaise, but these loaded fries were not bad! They came with pulled pork, caramelized onion, cheddar sauce and Pico de Gallo.
They also had this fries item with cheddar sauce and jalapeños. Not my favorite I have to say. The other one was tastier.
And just to finish it off I ordered my favorite item, the “pleskavitsa”: a traditional Serbian and Balkan dish of minced meat, which is grilled. The preparation of the pleskavica involves mixing the minced meat with finely chopped onions, chillies, yellow cheese, pepper and other spices. Delicious!
